Branding, SEO & Website Design

George Adams Dangerous Goods

About the Project

It was a unique experience creating a brand and website for George Adams. George is a D.G.S.A teacher who worked his way up in the transport industry to establish his own company.

We worked with George to design a brand identity that suited him. This initially started by creating various design concepts for George’s logo. Until we decided on a logo that best fit George, from there we chose the colour palette and built the brand around the logo & colours. We choose blues & oranges to convey danger and trust/intelligence . Danger representing the dangerous chemicals & handling/transporting. We choose blue to convey trust/intelligence that represents the other aspect of George’s business which is training and teaching.

Challenges

The Challenge for to us when creating George’s site was to establish a brand identify, create a fully responsive site for desktop, tablet & mobile and use best practices for SEO. The first step was establishing a logo that fit George’s field of work, as we wanted to convey the dangerous chemicals in his logo.  We chose orange and blue to reflect the danger with transporting dangerous chemicals and to add contrast to the site. Once the brand identity was established we created wireframes and planned the content for each page on George’s website. George wanted to have his website be an e-commerce site so that he could sell PPE and other equipment.

Results

The final result was two beautifully designed websites that are fully responsive and serve the business needs of George. One site being an e-commerce for George to sell dangerous goods safety items & the other an online platform for people to achieve their D.G.S.A. certficates, giving George the platforms to grow his business. George was delighted with the end result of both sites which gave him the platform to pursue his passion and expertise in the transporting of dangerous goods. The success of this project was due to listening to what our client needed to grow their business and establishing their brand idenity.
